As part of Pinecone Technology’s ongoing quality assurance program, a recent internal production review and after-sales performance analysis identified a potential computing performance stability concern affecting a limited number of devices manufactured between August 7, 2025, and August 31, 2025 (Batch 20250807–20250831).

Our engineering investigation determined that the issue is associated with specific manufacturing process variables that may, in isolated cases, lead to reduced or temporarily inactive computational performance on individual motherboards.

Following a comprehensive technical assessment, we would like to clarify the following:

  • The occurrence rate is low and limited to specific units within the identified batch.

  • The matter is not systemic and does not affect the overall operational safety or primary functionality of the devices.

  • Normal device operation remains stable outside of the affected component scenario.


Customer Support Measures

To ensure continued confidence and minimize disruption for customers, Pinecone Technology is introducing the following support actions.

1. Extended Warranty Coverage

Devices included in Batch 20250807–20250831 will receive an enhanced service provision:

  • Any confirmed loss of computing performance related to motherboard operation will qualify for complimentary repair service.

  • Coverage applies for one year from the date the issue is identified.

  • Dedicated technical assistance will be provided in accordance with Pinecone’s standard after-sales service procedures.


2. Strengthened Reliability and Quality Controls

In parallel, Pinecone Technology has implemented additional measures to further enhance product consistency and long-term reliability:

  • Expanded aging and stability testing conducted under controlled operating conditions

  • More comprehensive stress testing designed to simulate sustained real-world workloads

  • Continuous refinement of manufacturing workflows and reinforced quality assurance protocols
